Between-session client engagement

Homework, check-ins, reflections, and resources between sessions.

Clients get a private space between appointments and choose what to share. What they share reaches the clinician before the next session, with source and timing attached.

What clients can use

One private place for the work between appointments.

Every entry begins with the client or clinician. Sessions are never recorded and never listened to. Signals from a connected device arrive only if the client authorizes that connection, and only while they leave it on. No inference, no streaks, no score.

  • Check-ins

Short, structured questions a client completes on their own time.

  • Mood

A simple entry logged when it happens instead of recalled later.

  • Homework

What was agreed in session and what the client completed.

  • Reflections

The client's own words, written when they matter.

  • Resources

What the clinician shared and what the client chose to open.

  • Forms and intake

Completed in the client space and kept with the record.

  • Telehealth sessions

The video session opens in the same private space, with nothing to download.

Permission and provenance

Clients decide what reaches the clinician.

Participation is private by default. When something is shared, who contributed it and when remain attached to the entry.

Body Intelligence

Optional signals, shared on the client’s terms.

If a client connects a device and chooses to share it, sleep, recovery, heart-rate variability, and activity rhythm can sit beside their reflections, check-ins, and homework in session preparation.

This is context for a conversation. It is not monitoring, not a diagnosis, and not a clinical measurement. The client turns it on, can turn it off, and chooses what the clinician sees.

Telehealth, built in

The session itself happens in the same place.

Therapy Companion’s own HIPAA-compliant video, inside the platform the client already uses for check-ins and homework. No second app, and no second website to send them to.

The client clicks one link

The session opens in the browser they already have. Nothing to download, no second account to make.

Built in-house, not resold

The platform is built in-house and HIPAA-compliant, so the session and the record live in one system.

Sessions are never recorded

Therapy Companion does not record sessions. What reaches the record is what someone chose to write.

Illustrative. No session is recorded and no real client appears here.
Clinical boundary

Context for a conversation, not a score or a diagnosis.

Therapy Companion makes between-session activity visible and structured. It is not a clinical measurement, diagnosis, risk score, or automated assessment. The clinician decides what it means. Therapy Companion does not claim to have measured an outcome improvement of its own.
